Fear Not Studios is mostly operated by me, Travis Phillips. However, I couldn't do it without the help of some key people in my life - namely God, my wife Kaylan, and a few friends who are there to help me when I need it. I started designing websites in 2001 with a project for a course on HTML in college. Also while in college, I worked as a radio DJ, Program Director, and Studio Engineer at KSWC. I also learned linear video editing, video production and film techniques, as well as lighting and sound for video. In between all that, I was a photographer for the college newspaper and helped with editing and page layouts. In 2005 I graduated with a B.A. in Mass Communications and Film (and a B.A. in History) from Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas.
My little venture, Fear Not Studios, started out around April 2011. My experience with Audio, Video, Photography, Print, and Web Design goes back several years before that. I've always had a bit of an entrepreneur side to me. I wasn't too sure what to expect or how to go about it - I just knew that if I was going to work, then I want to enjoy the work I do. Solely by word of mouth, I have now built a good sized portfolio of various websites. Some of them are for friends and family, but most of them are for other businesses, entrepreneurs, and non-profit organizations.
While the main focus of Fear Not Studios tends to be websites, I still love doing audio, video, photography, graphic design, and other print work. I continue to keep this as part of my services and frequently work with audio and video to keep from getting rusty. I've done most of the graphic design that you see on my websites. If you look for it, you'll also find some examples of my photography and video work. When I get more time to focus on my own website, then I'll add some nice examples on here. For the time being though, I have work to do for my clients! So I'll end this rather long narrative with a thank you for visting my site, thanks for reading, and please - if you have any questions or concerns about myself or what I do - use my contact page to send me an e-mail. I'd love to get to know you and maybe even work with you to create your next media masterpiece.
